Miss Cupcake
But as usual, I doubt it that I'll get the first place. There are lots of pretty cupcakes there in the competition already. But still, I want to join it anyway, beside it doesn't hurt if I got the first prize right? ;)
So below is my cupcakes that I put in the competition. And you can click the link to give vote for my cupcakes :)

New Cuppie Flavour
It has been a while since my last post. Didn't have any chance to make anything worth to be posted last week. Because some of my friends came over to visit me.
But I did make something though.. I made super mini tiny tiramisu cupcakes.
Why mini tiny? Because.. I never thought that they would be super small, just like petit-fours. 1 bite then gone!
Even my husband can eat a lot of them (I mean it when I say he can eat a lot :p)
So, luckily he took a picture of the last single cupcake before he eats everything. And pardon for the hi-fi picture here :p

For more cupcake pictures jump to my flickr. Also, if you want to try this tiramisu cupcake, you can order now! :)
Happy Saturday!

Crunchy Chocolate Cookies
I made these cookies on sunday. Was craving for cookies in the early morning like 5 am or something. But I'm not pregnant! :p Just felt like eating cookies, since its been a while.
So, I googled crunchy cookies recipes. Couldn't find it anywhere!!! Most of them are chewy, and I don't like chewy cookies or candies. I just don't like chewy things!

So then I googled some more, finally I found this recipe. I checked the ingredients, checked my cupboard. Perfect! The next minute I already preheat my oven and start weighing the ingredients.

I got this recipe from very best baking, but I used less sugar from the recipe. And its already sweet enough from me. I also used dark and white chocolate in it. But no nuts :(
Since I didn't plan on making them. Will be perfect if you put nuts in it as well (except coconut maybe :p).
If you like crunchy cookies, you should definitely try this.
Happy Baking!

Lily Cupcakes
Yesterday, I gathered all my mood and confidence to make this lily (again!) after the first disaster. When I made it the first time, the yellow part was a loooooooot bigger than the petal :p
I felt like crying and a bit desperate, and keep telling my self that I don't have any talent making sugar flowers. But then my kind husband keep telling me that I just need to practice more.
And here it is, my second attempt on making Calla Lily. Even though it doesn't look real, but I'm quite happy with it.

Princess Cake
So, it was my birthday last tuesday. I decided to make a birthday cake for my self (its safer than my husband made it for me) :PThis time I made Princess cake. It's a traditional Swedish cake for birthday and stuff.
Inside the cake is, vanilla sponge, strawberry jam, custard cream and cream. Covered with marzipan...
It was really nice cake (not because I made it. lol) But because it wasn't so sweet. Thats why I liked it :)

Orange bavarois
This was 1 of the first dessert I learnt when I was still in vocational high school. I was just 16 that time! Oh my!
And now I feel like eating it again. So I made it again for our special dinner dessert.

*sorry for quality of the picture, I took it my cell phone*
240 g milk
60 g egg yolk
15 g gelatine sheets
50 g sugar
240 g cream
Juice from 2 oranges
Directions:
1. Cream the egg with sugar
2. Boil the milk and whisk into the egg in the sugar cream
3. Replace on low heat and stir till it thickens (do not boiled)
4. Remove from the heat and stir in the gelatin which has been prev. soaked in cold water
5. Strain and cool the mixture until it reaches the consistency of half whipped cream
6. Half whipped the cream and fold it into the custard until mixed
7. Add the juice from 2 oranges
8. Fill the mould, which maybe slightly greased and then chill
9. Remove from mould by shaking and serve
note: if you want to put it in orange like I did to mine, simply empty the orange carefully, until everything clean so you can put the mix inside it.
Enjoy!
